Taco Bell is an American multinational chain of fast food restaurants that offers Mexican-inspired foods. “Live Más!” or Live More! as they say. It’s a go-to restaurant when you need to satisfy your cravings with lively Mexican flavors.
In 1951 American entrepreneur Glen Bell decided to sell hard-shell tacos to distinguish himself from his rivals in one of his restaurants, Bell’s Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. Recognizing the popularity of tacos, he opened his first Taco Bell in 1962 in Downey, California. Taco Bell expanded quickly, gaining its first franchisee, a retired Los Angeles policeman Kermit Becky, in 1964.
The chain has more than 7,000 locations and over 350 franchisees worldwide. To learn more about franchising opportunities click here.
