Chick-Fil-A is arguably the best American fast-food chain that serves chicken sandwiches. Who would have dreamt that a simple chicken sandwich could be so delicious. Even the cows said, “Eat Mor Chikin”. 


It all started when Truett Cathy and his brother, Ben, opened an Atlanta diner known as The Dwarf Grill in 1946. The brothers realized that efficiency matters, so they used a pressure cooker to create a speedily prepared boneless chicken sandwich in the early 1960s. 7 years later Truett Cathy founded and opened the first Chick-fil-A restaurant in Atlanta's Greenbriar Shopping Center. Cathy also saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest, enjoy time with their families and loved ones

Cathy strongly believes that the company must never go public. And it’s not easy to become a Chick-Fil-A franchisee as they only select between 75 to 80 new franchisees a year. To learn more click here.
